A New Approach

As a landscape architect, my first thoughts when looking at the complex forms of the shell was of its liking to the complex curves and formations of land form. While the area approached by Nettie (green) was interesting, it was too similar to my last project and I was more captivated by the contrast between small ripples throughout the top of the shell and the dramatic valley created at the base of the sides (red). The small ripples are quite similar to my last project and my skills in forming these have already been somewhat established but the deep valley is a new and challenging form which I thought would be more interesting to attempt.
